The trip • The couples traveled to the Perigord region of France in the Dordogne valley in October 2021. They stayed in a 300-year-old barn conversion in Cubjac and toured a family-owned truffle farm.
Travel tip • Get out of the big cities and tourist traps. Go into the small towns and villages to really get to know another culture, the real countryside views and the average citizen.
