How to cancel a TUI flight?

To cancel a flight, you must either manage it through your account and cancel it yourself, or contact TUI.

To manage your cancellation online yourself, simply do so by logging into your Client account or Booking Management.

If you do not have access to online use, then contact TUI and they will help you figure it out.

You can either visit one of their TUI stores and speak to their travel experts in person or give them a call.

You can call or email your local store to make an appointment and skip the line when you visit.

You can also call 0203 451 2688 and speak to one of the TUI agents to help you cancel your booking.

The TUI Call Center is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 19:00, Saturday from 9:00 to 17:00 and Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00.

After your flight is canceled, TUI must send a cancellation invoice within 14 days.

If they don’t, contact them.

Will I get my money back for the flight?

If you decide to cancel your flight, no you won’t.

Instead, you will have to pay a cancellation fee.

TUI will only refund you if they have to cancel the flight from the end or if they have given you the option to do so.

Cancellation fees vary.

The cost depends on how much time is left before the trip and which airline you are flying with.

The cancellation fee covers the process of canceling your flight and also protects TUI in case they are unable to resell your tickets.

Fees are calculated as follows:

  • 70 or more days before travel – loss of full deposit
  • 69-63 days prior to travel – 30% of the total booking price.
  • 62-49 days prior to travel – 50% of the total booking price.
  • 48-29 days before travel – 70% of the total booking price.
  • 28-15 days before travel – 90% of the total booking price.
  • 14 – zero days before travel – 100% of the total booking price

How much does it cost to change a TUI flight?

If you are unable to travel due to Covid-19 circumstances, TUI is offering travelers the option to change their flight free of charge.

This offer is valid until October 31, 2022.
