Leading UK budget hotel chain to open many new resorts across Spain – with rooms from £16 per night

A POPULAR budget hotel chain is opening new resorts abroad, which is good news for your holiday in Spain.

Travelodge has confirmed that it will be expanding its portfolio of hotels throughout Spain.

Their latest new hotel includes the brand new NH Villa de Coslada in Madrid with 79 rooms and an on-site restaurant and bar.

It will be converted to the Travelodge Madrid Coslada Aeropuerto after a €1 million renovation.

Renovations are due to begin this summer and will remain open to guests.

Expansion plans include new Travelodge hotels in Barcelona, ​​Madrid, Alicante, Bilbao, Granada, Malaga, Palma, Seville and Valencia.

Travelodge still has thousands of rooms starting at £7.50 a night this year.

Travelodge already has several hotels in Spain that offer rooms at great rates.

Including two in Barcelona, ​​two in Madrid, and a hotel at Valencia Airport.

Rooms start at just €19 (£16) and cost as little as £8 per night, making your holiday in Spain even cheaper.

Steve Bennett, Travelodge Director, Director of Real Estate and Development, said: “The Spanish hotel market is growing at such a pace that demand outstrips supply and we want to take this opportunity to introduce the Travelodge brand to new business and leisure locations across Spain.

“(It) offers business travelers and leisure travelers more choice and great value for money.”

If you want to stay in the UK, Travelodge has thousands of rooms for £30 this year.

There are over 580 to choose from across the UK including both cities and coastal areas.

Guests can also pay £8.99 for unlimited breakfast, with children under 16 getting free breakfast.
