Work will take place next week on Michigan Way between Culmore Road and Derwent Drive.

Drainage work is ongoing from Monday 13 February to Friday 17 February as part of Operation Resilience by Hampshire County Council.

Those who live in the area are not guaranteed access by car to their property. A road service officer will be on site to help the townspeople.

On these days, temporary traffic lights will operate from 9:30 to 16:00, and residents are urged not to park on the road.

It’s part of the county council’s long-term strategy to make Hampshire’s roads “more resilient to the effects of extreme weather and heavy traffic”.
