Ryanair flight attendant reveals hilarious truth about Tiktok carry-on hack
A RYANAIR flight attendant revealed how much they know about the dastardly Tiktok carry-on hacks.
People often try to be smart or cunning when flying with Ryanair in an attempt to get around their strict carry-on baggage rules.
However, a member of their flight attendants noted that they are well aware of what is going on.
Instead of punishing those who try to get away with it, she said they just laugh at it instead.
The video is on TikTok featured passenger Marta Vieira trying one of her travel tips.
Traveler (@_martavieira_) showed how she used an empty neck pillow, as many others do, to carry extra items onto the plane without having to pay for excess baggage.

In the footage, she celebrates that she “got away with breaking in,” showing how much she hid in her pillow after her flight.
The video has been viewed by more than five million people since it was posted earlier this month, and some viewers were impressed by what they saw.
One wrote: “You are an absolute legend!”
Another added: “This is the smartest thing I’ve ever seen and it makes sense to have a head pillow.”
However, not everyone was so excited.
A Ryanair flight attendant commented on the video, saying the flight attendants are well aware of what’s going on.
She wrote: “As a Ryanair flight attendant, I always try to smile when I see people with pillows because I know what’s inside.”
She wasn’t the only flight attendant to point this out to passengers.
On the Sun Online Travel blog, another said they were always aware of what happens when people try to smuggle extra baggage on board.
They said; “You’ve probably seen videos on Tiktok where people hide bags in sweaters to look like they’re pregnant, or stuff clothes into pillowcases.
“They all show people just trying to take more stuff on holiday without paying for excess baggage, and trust me, we’ve seen them all.
“Most likely, we probably even saw these people doing it at the airport, but just didn’t care about doing anything about it.
“If every passenger starts doing this, we will probably have problems, because even with small bags, the weight will increase.
“But we’re not at that stage yet, and it’s really not that big of a deal at the moment.
“Personally, I was inspired — I always save money wherever I can.”

In the meantime, here’s a bag that people are praising for being able to take it on the plane with them.
