A 1952 armored personnel carrier named Sally was featured on Airbnb as an offer for a “memorable escape”.
The host tells online: “Reconnect with nature in this unforgettable escape.
“Sally is an old APC who is now a great host in beautiful Cornwall. Just five minutes drive from St Ives.
“Sally includes a simple kitchen and outdoor fire pit with stunning views.
“Toilet and shower nearby. We are located on a quiet and peaceful farm.

“Here we are surrounded by nature and our rescued farm animals.”
Potential guests are told, “Please note that Sally is an old army vehicle and therefore smells and looks like an old army vehicle. (We tried to keep as much of her original as possible.)”
The car has proven to be a hit so far.
One reviewer said of their stay: “What a place! Such a great vacation! The tank was so beautiful that it was preserved in its original form.
